For best results, allow the wax surface to melt evenly during each burn before extinguishing the flame. This helps prevent tunneling and can extend the life of the candle. Avoid cutting the wick short; if a mushroom shape forms, extinguish the candle, allow it to cool completely, and gently remove the tip.

Burn time may vary depending on room temperature and environment. Keep the wax pool free from debris, extinguish carefully, and allow the candle to cool before moving. We recommend using a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Never use water. Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep out of reach of children and pets.

You may also notice natural imperfections such as light cracking or a soft powdery film known as “bloom,” which can occur with pure beeswax as natural oils rise to the surface. These are normal and do not affect how the candle burns.

Beeswax does not expire. Burn time varies depending on environment. If tunneling occurs, a simple solution is to allow the candle to burn longer so the wax can even out.
