Aubergine Melange Irish Handloomed Scarf | Soft Mohair Wool Blend

Purple Haze. Irish Heritage.

Wrap yourself in warmth and artistry with this brushed mohair scarf, handcrafted in Ireland. A bold eggplant-purple base accented with soft blue trim creates a vibrant yet elegant palette—rich, fresh, and effortlessly wearable. The fluffy brushed finish lends featherlight softness, making it as comfortable as it is striking.

Woven from the finest Italian mohair yarn—sourced from the Angora goat and blended with wool—this scarf insulates without weight. Each strand is hand-dyed in a centuries-old Irish mill using a delicate, small-batch process that preserves the fiber’s natural softness while producing deep, lasting color.

Handcrafted by the artisans of Cushendale Woollen Mills, this scarf reflects over 800 years of Irish textile tradition. With its luminous hue, cloud-soft texture, and elegant drape, it’s an heirloom-worthy accessory designed for beauty and built for comfort.

About the Artisan

Cushendale Woollen Mills (est. 1778) is located in Graiguenamanagh, a picturesque town on the River Barrow with more than 800 years of textile heritage. Run by the Cushen family since the 18th century, the mill continues to craft heirloom-quality pieces using time-honored methods. Cushendale and Graiguenamanagh are part of the World Crafts Council–designated Craft City & Region—one of only four in Europe.
