Material

Napalan Sheepskin: Recognized for its distinctive matte leather surface and luxurious feel, the Napalan finish enhances both durability and elegance. The wool is lightly ironed during tanning to create a smooth, soft hand feel while preserving natural warmth and breathability. Each hide is meticulously color-matched for uniformity and texture—a craft perfected through generations of Somerset expertise.

Product Care

Store in a clean, dry, dark space—preferably in a sealed dust bag or garment cover. Avoid long exposure to natural or fluorescent light, which can fade color. Keep away from moths and rodents during long-term storage.

• To Refresh: Gently buff with a dry scouring pad (foam side first) in long, fluid strokes to lift dust and revive the surface. Shake or vacuum afterward.
• After Rain: Allow to air dry naturally in a warm, ventilated environment. Once dry, knead gently to restore flexibility and brush to smooth the nap.
• Spot Cleaning: Use mild soap and lukewarm water for light stains. Do not immerse. For grease or ink, contact a professional.
• Napalan or Hurricane Finishes: Naturally resistant to dirt—light spot cleaning is typically sufficient.
• Wool Side: Brush or vacuum gently to refresh. Avoid combing tight curls.
• Professional Cleaning: Sheepskin should not be dry cleaned. Seek a specialist experienced in leather and shearling care.
