Mantova TL SMART Italian Leather Briefcase With Flap | Matte Full-Grain Leather

Crafted Heritage. Modern Design.

Handcrafted in Italy from matte, vegetable-tanned, hand-stained calfskin leather, this full-grain bag blends timeless craftsmanship with practical, modern design.

The eco-conscious vegetable tanning process enriches the leather’s natural strength, color, and character—maturing beautifully over time. Its matte finish highlights the organic grain while resisting scratches and daily wear. A semi-rigid structure ensures it keeps its shape while offering just enough flexibility for comfortable everyday use.

Smartly Organized

Designed for streamlined functionality, this bag features two main compartments, an interior zip pocket, and one open pocket for easy access. A front zippered pocket with two divided sections and a back zip pocket provide additional organization. It also includes the TL Smart Module, which snaps in securely to hold pens, devices, and other essentials.

Secure & Functional

The structured flap secures with a classic push-lock clasp and key for peace of mind. Carry it your way with the wide, adjustable leather-and-fabric shoulder strap—detachable for flexibility. Brushed brass or silver-tone hardware (based on color selection) complements the classic silhouette, while the vintage ticking-striped cotton lining adds a refined finish.

Custom Laser Engraving on Leather: What It Is & How It Appears

Thanks to advanced laser technology, engraving is meticulously executed by professionals and does not affect delivery times. It offers a precise, permanent, and highly detailed way to personalize leather, etched directly onto the surface. Unlike embossing, engraving burns the top layer of the leather, resulting in a subtle contrast that varies by color and finish:

• Lighter tones (tan, beige, natural, caramel) → high-contrast, bold engraving
• Darker shades (brown, navy, black, burgundy) → subtle, tone-on-tone finish
• Matte/uncoated leathers absorb evenly; glossy finishes appear softer
